How do we live here in Perú?

It is said a human being needs shelter, warmth, water, food and love.
Let's see...shelter:

Since seven month now we are in the city of Cusco. Seen from the coast of Perú, it's crossing the Andes in the direction of the amazon. We are at an altitude of 3.400 m where some people sufferfrom altitude sicknes. This is why you can buy oxigen shots here in the farmacies :-)
We don't have a problem with this BUT we feel that it's just a pain in the *** to walk up hill to our apartment.

Cusco looks much like Germany, except for the reforestation trees - eukalyptus. It's amazingly beautiful here. Especially if you go out of the city.. Due to the fact that weare close to the equator it is quite hot when the sun is out but also almost freezing if not, cause of the altitude.

So where is our shelter?

We live in the house of the Shaman Mallku, who we first met in his vegan restaurant. We help a little in the garden and live in the house wich is still in the building process but has two apartments ready, yet.

There will be one floor for another vegan restaurant and an alternative dentist as well as an altermative school :-)
